FILTER: New Mexican Hetalia Meet-Up.

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

I thought it would be easier to discuss via a post so I have left this unlocked for those who have not friended my journal. I know we chatted about it last time but I thought this would easier to discuss then a bunch of PM's. If you are still interested, of course, paeanrela and myself are up for a get-together on Halloween if it is not to, to last minute for the rest of you.

I know tan0sh11_chan, the tiny Italia, can not make it as she has previous plans so it would be a small meeting like last time, but the issue of location is always a problem.

I am more than happy to offer my home if you want to roll on up to Rio Rancho and if you need a ride I would be more than happy to oblige and pick you up like your own personal taxi service. If not, there are a ton of things happening around the city, so I hear, if you have any ideas there just kind of throw them up. I would say we should have a solidified plan by Thursday, but I am all for hour-before plans.

PS: If you can't make it till later or want to bring some people don't stress it! I don't think time is an issue and if you know some people pass the word. The more the merrier?

Well I ended up having to fly out Friday for the funeral like I figured. Though the plane rides almost killed me it was worth it to see and be with family that I had not seen in a very long time, no matter how po-dunk the town still remains, its nice to kick back and find your routes. The whole trip is still like a blur to me but I got a many great things from my grandfather in his will. Most of them are from his time during the war and his travels outside of it. I received a tapestry from Turkey, many maps from Germany, Russia and Iran, lots of knickknacks from Chile, Brazil and Africa, some old coins from like the 1800's in England, France, Germany, Italy and Egypt and tons and tons of old photos. I've scanned a handful of photos that I thought you guys might like to see. Considering half of my f-list are history buffs.

There are some of my grandfather and my grandmother as well, but just the style and dress of it all I get a kick out of.
